It’s wildly known that I love Christmas! Some may even say obsessed. What you don’t know is that I have gifted multiple children an Elf on the Shelf (and potentially ruining the lives on their parents).
When I first saw the creative and elaborate Elf set ups – I fell in love. The magic of Christmas brought to life every December morning.
The sad thing is that the magic ends. The Elf returns to the North Pole not to return until December 1. This inspired me to create postcards and mail from Elf!

On the back of each card, I write a quick message from the Elf giving updates from his travels and a countdown to his return. It’s a great way to keep the magic of Christmas alive with the bonus of reminding kids that Santa is always watching!
How to Make It

I used the postcard template in Canva and updated the font and backgrounds. From there, I added a picture of the Elf!
If you don’t have Canva – no worries! You can easily use PowerPoint, Word, or google docs. You can find images online and to send some love!
Here’s a few images you can definitely use to send some magic!

Pro Tip
Here are some tips to make it more magical.
- Use a crayon and child-like handwriting to share your message from the Elf
- Make sure to get the postcard from somewhere magical (or the mailbox)
- Have fun with it!
- Fake a stamp!

Happy Christmas!
